The Believe Boutique this past weekend was UNBELIEVABLE! 3100 people passed through the doors Friday and Saturday, and I met so many wonderful, and Gluten Free, people. I was actually very surprised that about one out of every 6 or so people that I spoke with either knew someone that is living gluten free, or they were gluten free themselves. Amazing! I passed out cupcakes and little mini pies to everyone, and the vintage table was such a hit, I think I could have sold everything on it, including the linens. I love the set up and so did every one else. The antique drawers used as serving trays was the most interesting element. The vintage teacups and cream pitcher also got rave reviews! Next year, I think I will package the cupcakes inside vintage cups to sell together!
I had lots of fun, and spoke to so many lovely people and vendors, I can't wait for next year!
Have a sweet day.

Pinterest Best + Halloween Decor
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I know this sounds kind of crazy, but it's the only holiday that you get to pretend you are someone, or something else! How much more fun can a holiday be? So the kids are dressing up, and here's what I found on Pinterest...now if I only had the time to make some of these my own.. Oh well, I hope you can make some of these cute, spooky, and totally cool elements a part of your Halloween. HAVE FUN!

Holiday Present Cakes on Chanel 12 Midday
This Holiday Dessert Table will air on Chanel 12 Midday sometime in early December 2011. It was so much fun to create. Push Pops full of Cranberry Walnut Bread with Cream Cheese Frosting, Dark Chocolate Drizzled Cranberry Macaroons, Coconut Handmade Marshmallows, Red Velvet Cake and Mini Present Cakes, 6" Pecan, Pumpkin and Chocolate Pies, all Gluten Free. The table is topped with a gorgeous, soft, gray fleece, silver and white jingle bells, pomegranates, and a blue vintage cake plate. The graphic fabric covered tree shapes are topped with silk leaves and silver balls.. I think my favorite element is the little grey flannel bird with a red scarf.

Roses + Pearls + Lace Pink Wedding Cake
When I think of romantic design, images of roses, pearls and lace top my list of delicate elements. Pink, of course, the stripes remind me of a vintage wallpaper design. I spent many years working in the interior design industry and my mind is still full of rug designs, wallpaper, paint color combinations, and stone tile mosaics. Somehow, these elements influence the design of my cakes. This one was featured on Sonoran Living a few weeks ago and my favorite element is the delicate rose bouquet topper. This is way more fun than tile and paint chips, and much better tasting!

Gluten Free + Dairy Free Lemon Cake
By now everyone should know that I love Birthday Cake. Maybe because I spent so many birthdays without one! No one should have a Birthday without cake, and no one should have to eat BAD cake on their birthday! That's my philosophy, and I'm sticking to it. With that in mind, I have really been working hard on perfecting a Gluten Free, Dairy Free (also vegan) cake. I love butter, but this combination is as close as you can get to the real thing, shhhh, no one has to know.
The Birthday girl was taking this cake to Chelsea's Kitchen for dinner with her family. I am going there for a tour of their venue today, and can't wait to check it out. I've heard lots of great stuff about this place. I will post some pictures this weekend of the newly remodeled Arcadia Room.
Hope you have a sweet weekend!
